Game Rules and Regulations

 1.Team Composition: Each team consists of three players on the court at a time, with substitutions allowed during dead ball situations.

2. Court Size: half-court setup to accommodate the smaller number of players.

3. Game Duration: Games are played to a certain point total or time limit. Common point totals are 21 points, or 20-minute Time. The team with the most points at the end of the time limit wins.

4. Scoring: Points are typically scored as follows:

· Regular field goals: 1 point inside the arc, 2 points beyond the arc.

· Free throws: 1 point each from the free-throw line.

5. Possession: After a made basket, the scoring team takes the ball out beyond the arc at the top of the key and begins their next possession. After a defensive rebound or a steal, the defensive team must "clear" the ball beyond the arc before attempting to score.

6. Fouls: Foul rules are like traditional basketball. Fouls allotted per individual is 4. Once a single player receives his or her 4th foul they will be out of the game. Excessive or intentional fouling may result in player disqualification. If a team received 4 total team fouls the opposition will have a one and one opportunity.

7. Substitutions: Substitutions will be made during dead ball situations.

8. Timeouts: 2 timeouts per game.

9. Overtime: If the game is tied at the end of regulation, Overtime will be played on a 2-minute basis.

10. Tournament Format: The tournament format will include pool play followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket. Seeding will be based on random draw, team rankings, or previous performances.

11. Referees: Games officiated by referees to enforce the rules and maintain fair play.

12. Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to adhere to a code of conduct, which may include rules regarding sportsmanship, behavior, and fair play.
